1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or using Pridloom (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. What the Service is
Pridloom is a local directory that helps homeowners in the Pompano Beach and Broward County area find and contact home-service professionals ("pros"), request estimates, exchange messages and read reviews. We are a directory and communication platform only:
- We are not a party to any agreement between a homeowner and a pro.
- We do not perform, supervise or guarantee any work.
- Licensing, insurance and background information shown on listings is provided by the pros themselves; verify credentials directly before hiring.
3. Accounts & eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information, including a working phone number for verification.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity on your account.
- You may delete your account at any time in Settings.
4. Rules for pros and listings
- Only claim a business that you own or are authorized to represent. Ownership claims may require supporting documents and are reviewed before approval.
- Keep your listing accurate — services, service area, pricing information, licensing and insurance details must reflect reality.
- Listings may be edited, suspended or removed if they violate these terms or applicable law.
5. Reviews and content
- Reviews must reflect your genuine experience. Fake, paid-for or retaliatory reviews are prohibited.
- You keep ownership of the content you post, and grant us a license to display it on the Service.
- We may moderate, edit for display, or remove content that is unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or otherwise violates these terms.
6. Estimates & communications
When you send an estimate request, your name, contact details and project description are shared with the pros you select (see the Privacy Policy). Any estimate, price or commitment exchanged through the Service is between you and the pro.
7. Prohibited use
- No scraping, bulk collection of user data, or automated access without our permission.
- No spam, unsolicited advertising, or misuse of the chat and estimate systems.
- No impersonation, misrepresentation of credentials, or fraudulent claims of business ownership.
- No attempts to interfere with the security or operation of the Service.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pridloom is not liable for the acts, omissions, work quality, licensing status or conduct of any pro or homeowner, nor for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
