Pridloom ("we", "us") operates a local home-services directory for Pompano Beach and Broward County, Florida. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

Account information — your full name, email address, phone number, password (stored only as a secure hash), your role (homeowner or pro), and, for pros, your business name and category. Your phone number is verified with a one-time code.
Profile information — an optional profile picture and notification preferences.
Estimate requests — the answers you give in our estimate forms (project details, timing, budget and similar), which become a message sent to the pros you choose.
Messages — conversations between homeowners and pros in our chat, including any files or images you attach.
Reviews — the rating and text you post about a business, linked to your account.
Business claim documents — if you claim a business listing, the business phone and email you provide and the ownership documents you upload (for example licenses or utility bills).
Reports — if you report a listing or review, the reason and description you provide, an optional email address, and a truncated IP address used to prevent abuse.
Usage data — when a listing page is viewed, we store an anonymized, one-way hash derived from the visitor's IP address and browser, plus the traffic source, so business owners can see view counts. We do not store your raw IP address for analytics.

3. How we use your information

To create and secure your account and verify your phone number.
To deliver your estimate requests and messages to the businesses you contact.
To display your reviews and (for pros) your business listing.
To verify business ownership claims.
To show business owners anonymous statistics about their listing views.
To moderate content, investigate reports, and keep the platform safe.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

With the pros you contact — when you send an estimate request or message, the business receives your name, your email address, your profile picture (if any) and the content of your request. If you use the multi-pro option, the same request is sent to each business in the category you selected — up to 100 businesses at once. Only send information you are comfortable sharing with those businesses.
Publicly — your reviews appear on the business page with your name; in the homepage activity feed your name is shortened (for example "Maria G.").
Service providers — uploaded files may be stored with our hosting and storage providers (for example Cloudflare R2). Our pages load the Inter font from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers.
Legal — we may disclose information if required by law or to protect our users and platform.

5. Your privacy choices & cookies

Cookies — we set one cookie, and only if you choose "Trust this device for 30 days" when you sign in. It is a security cookie that lets you skip the verification code on that device: page scripts cannot read it, it is sent only to our sign-in service, it expires after 30 days, and we store only a scrambled version of it. We use no tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.
Maps — pages that show a map load Google Maps, which may set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy.
Browser storage — we use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as your theme. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Access & deletion — you can view and edit your information in your profile and settings pages, and delete your account yourself in Settings, which removes your personal data. You can also email us (section 1) to exercise your rights.
Florida & California residents — you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, and to request its deletion. Because we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, there is nothing to opt out of. To exercise any right, contact us using section 1; we will respond within the time required by law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

6. Data retention

We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed; content needed for the integrity of the platform (such as moderation records) may be retained for a limited period where the law allows it.

7. Security

Passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes, connections use rate-limiting and security headers, and administrative actions are logged. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong, unique password.

8. Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you on the site. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
